The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate advanced language proficiency and/or translation ability in at least one language other than English. Preference will be given to the Spanish language.
As academic training is also required, preference also will be given to applicants with a degree or postgraduate legal qualification in the following areas of English law:
- Public/Constitutional Law
- Property
- Contract
- EU law
- Equity & Trusts
- Conveyancing
- Wills & Probate
- Companies & Partnerships
The firm will support its trainees through all necessary professional examinations in both law and language that must be passed in order to qualify as a scrivener notary.
